| The Apostles' Creed |
| In English I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Christian Chruch, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. |
| In Spanish (en Espanol) EL CREDO APOSTOLICO Creo en Dios Padre todopoderoso, Creador del cielo y de la tierra. Y en Jesucristo, su unico Hijo, nuestro Senor; que fue concebido por obra del Espiritu Santo, nacio de la Virgen Marķa; padecio bajo el poder de Poncio Pilatos, fue crucificado, muerto y sepultado; descendio a los infiernos; al tercer dia resucito de entre los muertos; subio a los cielos y esta sentado a la diestra de Dios Padre todopoderoso; y desde alli ha de venir a juzgar a los vivos y a los muertos. Creo en el Espiritu Santo; la santa iglesia cristiana, la comunion de los santos; el perdon de los pecados; la resurreccion de la carne y la vida perdurable. Amen. |
